The Scarborough Town Centre mall is situated between McCowan and Brimley, just across the square from the Civic Centre in the Scarborough district of Toronto (the northeastern part). The actual physical address is: 300 Borough Drive, Scarborough, Ontario M1P 4P5 Canada.
The Scarborough Town Centre covers an area of 1,305,399 sq. ft. There are 220 stores and 22 fast food eateries and 13 specialty food restaurants as well as a food court.
The malls anchors are The Bay, Sears, Wal-Mart, Sport Check, Dollarama, Old Navy, Gap, H & M, Shopper’s Drug Mart and Famous Players. There are no fees for parking and the mall has covered parking. There are no valet parking services available.
The Scarborough Town Centre is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
A review of security incidents showed that two men were shot in October 2006 in this mall. The mall is visited by 423,000 people per week.
The Scarborough Town Centre is a two level Y-shaped mall and is entirely enclosed.
There is a Famous Players Coliseum in this mall and there are no notable attractions in the area.
The mall was opened in 1973 and is owned by Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. There are always open positions for employment at the mall. We recommend that you apply within the store for jobs.
